How long does it take to get started?+
Most teams are up and running in under 30 minutes. You create your account, add your technicians, and start scheduling jobs right away. No complicated onboarding or training required.
Do I need to install any software?+
No. Tech Board runs entirely in your web browser and on your phone. There's nothing to download or install. Technicians can add it to their home screen on iPhone or Android for a native app experience.

How much does Tech Board cost?+
Tech Board starts at $49/month for small teams. Enterprise pricing is available for larger operations. Visit our pricing section on the homepage for full plan details. All plans include unlimited jobs, customers, and invoices.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes. There are no long-term contracts. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your Settings page. Your data remains accessible until the end of your billing period.
Do you offer discounts for annual plans?+
Yes — paying annually saves you two months compared to monthly billing. Contact support for current annual pricing.
Is there a limit on how many technicians I can add?+
Limits depend on your plan. Starter plans support smaller teams, and higher-tier plans support unlimited technicians. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time.

Features

Can customers book jobs online?+
Yes. Tech Board includes an online booking form that you can embed on your website or share directly with customers. Customers fill out their details and job type, and the request lands in your dashboard for you to schedule.
Does Tech Board have a time clock for technicians?+
Yes. Technicians can clock in and out directly from their phone. Managers can view clock entries, total hours, and export time reports for payroll.
Can I send invoices through Tech Board?+
Yes. You can create and send invoices directly from any completed job. Tech Board uses Stripe to process payments, so customers can pay online by card. Funds are deposited directly to your bank account.
Does Tech Board track job status in real time?+
Yes. Every job goes through statuses — Scheduled, En Route, In Progress, Completed, or Cancelled. When a technician updates their status, the customer automatically receives an email notification.
Can I manage subcontractors?+
Yes. Tech Board has a dedicated Subcontractors section where you can track subs, assign them to jobs, manage agreements, and monitor their work alongside your full-time team.
Is there a schedule / calendar view?+
Yes. The Schedule page shows a full monthly calendar view of all jobs. You can click any day to see jobs scheduled and quickly navigate between months.
Can managers see reports and analytics?+
Yes. Admin, Owner, and Manager roles have access to a full Reports & Analytics page showing revenue by month, jobs completed per technician, average job value, and this-month vs. last-month comparisons.

Security & Privacy

Is my business data secure?+
Yes. Tech Board uses industry-standard security including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), secure password hashing, two-factor authentication (2FA), and brute-force login protection. Your data is stored on enterprise-grade infrastructure.
Does Tech Board support two-factor authentication?+
Yes. Every user can enable 2FA in their Settings using any authenticator app like Google Authenticator or Authy. This adds a second layer of security to your account.
Can different employees see different things?+
Yes. Tech Board has role-based access control. Technicians and dispatchers see only what they need. Managers and Owners have access to reports, billing, and full team management.
Is my customer data kept private?+
Absolutely. Each company's data is fully isolated. No other organization can ever see your customers, jobs, or invoices. We do not sell your data to third parties.
